Melissa Suzanne George, an Australia-born actress and entrepreneur who also is an inventor as well as a model. When she began her career in her native country she then moved to Hollywood and is enjoying significant successes there. The native of Perth George was initially interested in ballet and artistic roller skating. Her modeling career started as a teenager, and she was awarded the title of Western Australia Teenage Model in 1992. The following year, she starred on the screen for an episode of the soap opera on Seven Network called Home and Away. Her first big screen appearance was in Dark City, a mystery thriller. Later, she appeared in various support roles in projects including Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first major Hollywood appearance in The Amityville Horror remake.
